Private pediatric practice seeking a full time medical biller. This position requires experience in medical billing from coding, insurance claim filing, patient billing, remittance review and posting, all accounts receivable follow up, to appeals for denied insurance claims. Candidate should be personable, have positive customer service skills, and be a team player. The position is full time, compensation DOE, and includes benefits (PTO, medical/dental).
Requirements:
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with EHR and electronic filing
- Experience billing insurance
- Knowledge of medical coding guidelines and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret EOBs
- Knowledge of billing collection practices
- Experience with HIPAA regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
