Job Summary

We are looking for an Accountant to join the Finance Team. We are looking for an individual who wants a challenging accounting leader role in a fast-growing SaaS company. This candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with precision and a keen analytical eye. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day operations and plays a key role in MTech’s finance team at MTech.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing, prepare journal entries, reconcile inter-company transactions, review account balances, and report in the parent company’s consolidation system

• Supervise and assist closing activities performed by the team members
  

• Prepare complex monthly business review report after month-end close

• Provide accounting guidance on the daily accounting activities performed by the team members

• Prepare internal control documentation and respond to quarterly internal control questionnaire required by the parent company
  

• Prepare cash flow reports required by the parent company and MTech

• Prepare requested documents and assist internal and external audits

• Process accounts payable transactions and enter the transactions on the company’s credit card

• Improve accounting and operational processes

• Own the full closing process

• Ad-hoc request as assigned
  

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Four-year college degree in Accounting or equivalent
  

• CPA or CPA track preferred
  

• 2-4 years of work experience in corporate accounting
  

• Strong working knowledge in US GAAP or IFRS, including full understanding on financial statements, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
  

• NetSuite or equivalent ERP system required
  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; advanced Excel skills required
  

• Experience in financial audit
