Job Summary
The Nursing Supervisor will oversee the nursing staff and patient care activities within a healthcare facility. They will be responsible for ensuring quality care delivery and adherence to policies and procedures.
Duties
- Supervise nursing staff and monitor patient care
- Coordinate and assign nursing duties
- Provide guidance and support to nursing team members
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
- Assist in training new nursing staff
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns effectively
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Experience in a variety of medical procedures including cardiac catheterization, IV insertion, spinal tap, suturing, and ophthalmology
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records systems such as Cerner
- Strong background in critical care nursing
- Exceptional patient care skills
- Ability to manage toddler care when necessary
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
