Material Handler

Essential:

1. Perform SAP Transactions in accordance of functional area per Work Instructions
2. Utilize radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment as required to complete material movements within the warehouse and to the assembly line, to perform cycle counts and ship engines
3. Prepare, package / repackage and supply material to MTU America Operations in accordance to the MTU America Material Flow Strategy
4. Move material between material storage locations within the warehouse and to MTU America Operations
5. Read and interpret standard work instructions and operational documents and reports
6. Inspect and maintain equipment logs as required
7. Perform all aspects of shipping & receiving of material & finished goods including production material, non-production material and completed engines
8. Position and align components within warehouse and / or operations as directed
9. Maintain clean and orderly work areas and comply with safety regulations to help ensure a safe working environment
10. Keep management abreast of progress, developments and pending problems
11. Identify and reduce non-value added work
12. Perform special projects as may be required and maintain on the job flexibility by providing support in materials and other production related areas
13. Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
