Mullen Coughlin is a highly successful, fast growing niche law firm focused exclusively on counseling organizations in the context of data privacy, including pre-event planning and compliance, incident response, regulatory investigation, and both single-plaintiff and class action litigation.  Committed to rapid and efficient provision of legal counsel to organizations, we thrive in a high energy, close-knit, and upbeat Firm culture.  The Firm pays very competitively in the market and offers a full benefit package, including unlimited time off, paid maternity and paternity leave, and a generous 401(k) program.  Located at 426 West Lancaster Avenue, Devon, PA, Mullen Coughlin’s headquarters is over fifty-six thousand square feet, boasting the latest in technology and security, accommodating the projected continued growth of the firm, and providing all Mullen Coughlin employees access to amenities and resources to further their professional careers, as well as their health and well-being.

In this role, the attorney will work in a highly collaborative, team environment to provide legal counsel to organizations seeking to ensure compliance with the complex and ever-evolving legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to data privacy, data security, and consumer protection, and also seeking to best prepare for the investigation of and response to a data privacy event.  Services provided include, but are not limited to, the assessment of incident response readiness and development of incident response plans, performance of tabletop exercises, identification and development of legal and regulatory impact assessments, development of state, federal, and international data privacy and data security compliance programs, development of vendor management programs, development of data privacy and data security policies and procedures, and privileged security assessments.  This attorney will also routinely handle matters with the incident response practice, and may support the regulatory investigation and litigation practice groups on discreet matters.
