Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a solid understanding of property management principles, and the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and vendors. This role requires a proactive approach to property maintenance, leasing, and conflict resolution, ensuring that all properties are well-managed and tenants are satisfied.

Duties

  • Manage property leasing processes, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications.
  • Oversee property maintenance by coordinating repairs and maintenance requests with contractors and service providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of property activities, including tenant communications, maintenance logs, and financial transactions through data entry.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to property management.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance requests and scheduling preventive maintenance.
  • Develop positive relationships with tenants through effective communication and phone etiquette.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors for services such as landscaping, cleaning, and repairs.
  • Address tenant concerns promptly by employing conflict management techniques to resolve issues amicably.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they meet safety standards and are well-maintained.

Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in property management or a related field. Skills that are required or considered a plus include:

  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for managing maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with tenants and vendors.
  • Knowledge of local laws governing property management practices.
  • Proven negotiation skills for managing vendor contracts.
  • Experience in property maintenance coordination.
  • Proficiency in data entry for maintaining accurate records.
  • Background in property leasing processes.
  • Strong conflict management abilities to handle tenant disputes effectively.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
