Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Manage property leasing processes, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications.
- Oversee property maintenance by coordinating repairs and maintenance requests with contractors and service providers.
- Maintain accurate records of property activities, including tenant communications, maintenance logs, and financial transactions through data entry.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to property management.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance requests and scheduling preventive maintenance.
- Develop positive relationships with tenants through effective communication and phone etiquette.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors for services such as landscaping, cleaning, and repairs.
- Address tenant concerns promptly by employing conflict management techniques to resolve issues amicably.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they meet safety standards and are well-maintained.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in property management or a related field. Skills that are required or considered a plus include:
