MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 16 years old by the start of camp. Enthusiasm for working with children and a desire to contribute to their development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Previous experience in a camp or educational setting is a plus but not required.
GENERAL DEFINTION: The Norristown Department of Recreation is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to serve as Junior Camp Counselors to join our team for the upcoming camp season. As a Junior Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for overseeing campers, Support senior counselors, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and enriching camp experience for all participants.
