What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Camp Counselor position at NL Aquatics?
We are looking for a Camp Counselors to work at our medium-size summer camp for kids ages 5-12 years old.
Camp Counselors will be responsible for interacting with young campers, creating fun (pool & gymnasium) games, ensuring safety. Swim and summer camp experience is a huge plus!
Being reliable and able to build good relationships with children are two essential traits of a Counselor. If you’re patient, energetic, good with kids, and like to have fun, then we’d like to meet you!
Camp begins in June 30th and ends in August 22nd; perfect for teachers, high school and college kids!
Responsibilities
- Participating/leading swimming activities and/or games in the gymnasium
- Escort and oversee children from one activity to the next
- Set up and maintain equipment
- Make sure all safety rules are followed
- Perform first aid or take care of injuries as needed

- First aid-, CPR-, and/or lifeguard certified ideal... and we can help with training!
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
