Key responsibilities include oversight of scheduling, job training and competencies, engagement in quality improvement work, identification of education and professional development opportunities, continuous improvement in clinical and operational processes, and coaching and mentoring of colleagues. This individual must be able to balance their clinical workload with leadership duties while maintaining excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative leadership to CRNA staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the department
• Work closely with the Anesthesia Medical Director to develop and implement strategies for improving patient care and departmental operations
• Develop and maintain schedules for CRNA staff, taking into account staffing needs, training requirements, and performance evaluations
• Identify opportunities for professional development and provide support for CRNAs to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, analyzing data and implementing changes to improve patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
