We are seeking a Senior Accountant, with a strong background in financial reporting, reconciling general ledger accounts and analyzing financial data. This candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Prior experience with payroll processing a plus.

Responsibilities:
Financial reporting
Financial reporting
Accounts Receivable
Analyze financial data for discrepancies
Reconcile general ledger accounts
Maintain internal spreadsheets
Perform accounting expense allocations
Work with Accounting team on various financial responsibilities
Manage and maintain automated financial systems
Implement new software and lead Accounting Team through transitions
Participate and provide Team leadership in Team meetings
Oversee written standard operating procedures related to financial processes
Corporate and regulatory reporting
Qualifications
College Accounting preferred or Equivalent Accounting experience
3 or more years of experience as a Staff Accountant or related position
Basic understanding of Quick books (importing, exporting, data entry, report preparation)
Working knowledge of accrual accounting a plus
Detail and deadline oriented
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment (this job is not remote)
Technical Abilities
Understanding of Basic Financial Statements
Ability to reconcile asset and liability accounts
Troubleshoot accounting system problems
Job cost maintenance
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
