Summary
We are looking for technically skilled candidates with good problem-solving abilities for the position of IT Support Technician. The duties of an IT Support Technician include being a reference point for all IT-related queries at the user level, responding to user needs in a timely manner, and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other technical duties.
IT technicians are expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with colleagues in person and virtually from various departments and executive levels. They must listen to their technical needs, understand their problems, seek assistance as needed, and implement solutions.
Essential Functions
- Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
- Set up PCs, printers, monitors, and peripheral equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper cables, operating systems, and appropriate software installation.
- Conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
- Maintain PC management database.
- Maintain users in Active Directory and Office 365.
- Install and maintain Office 365 Apps.
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.
- Train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
- Configure and deploy cloud-based office phones with rules, directory updates, and overall administration.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and manage mobile phones and iTunes accounts.
- Order printer supplies and other IT-related items.
- Address internet outages.

Physical and Overall Requirements/Work Schedule
- Work in an office environment at normal noise & lighting levels – constantly.

- Able to perform simple motor skills and gross body coordination such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, sitting, etc. – constantly.

- Perform simple manipulative skills such as reading, writing, collating, etc. – constantly.

- Passing a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
- Able to be insured by the company’s provider and drive on behalf of the company utilizing your personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
Education
