IT Field Service Technician
Location: Hartford, CT (service area)
Pay Rate: $18/HR W2, plus mileage reimbursement
Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (On-Call rotation)
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
Description:
- Field dispatch cases at customer sites, including repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other various equipment. Covering the Hartford service area
- Projects and cases installing, refreshing, replacing, and removing equipment.
- Working with end-users to resolve issues.
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
- Providing updates to management as needed.
- Great training opportunities and growth available.
Skills:
- At least 2 years of Field Service experience
- A Certification required
- MUST live within 20 miles of 06103
- Desktop, Laptop, Printer, POS break fix
- Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Installing
- Hardware IMAC
- Reliable Transportation required (This is a driving position)
- Must be able to follow written instructions
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
