Summary:
Manages the procurement of MNGE supplies, products and requirements utilizing the following factors when making purchasing decisions: inventory levels and demand, including price, quality and availability; market trends; applicable laws; policies & procedures, all within financial limitations and budgets. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the procurement process from start to finish. Source new requirements and review existing items to ensure products remain competitive, of high-quality and that profits are maximized through the use of competitive bidding and the MNGE FSM software. React to changes in demand to successfully acquire needed requirements is a key element of the role. Utilizes excellent time management, communication and customer service skills to manage or perform the buyer functions and escalating issues or pertinent information to immediate Supervisor. Complete weekly reports communicating work status and assist with inventory or annual reports, as required.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the MNGE procurement process by coordinating and facilitating the creation, review, and issuance of bid events, to include requests for proposals and requests for quotes that are compliant with all applicable laws, MNGE policies and procedures through use of MNGE’s Financial Supply Management (FSM) software.
2. Identify, contact, encourage and assist with supplier registration in MNGE’s Supplier Portal to ensure successful competitive bid events.
3. Use FSM to analyze supplier bid event responses and create award recommendations for purchase orders and contracts.
4. Create and issue purchase orders and contracts compliant with all applicable laws and MNGE policies and procedures.
5. Ensure timely confirmation process from suppliers as per company’s confirmation requirements.
6. Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and accurate execution of invoicing and delivery of submitted purchase orders.
7. Coordinate with supplier to ensure all orders are 100% complete prior to shipping.
8. Ensure all invoices are submitted by suppliers 24 hours prior shipping date.
9. Provide and collaborate with constant feedback to relevant department heads and team members.
a. Provide details of order shipment within a week of container loading and advise relevant department heads and team members of any discrepancies and advise steps for resolution.
b. Investigate unusual issues with suppliers upon receiving complaints or when identifying anomalies
10. Collect necessary documentation to ensure accurate and timely payment of suppliers invoices.
11. Continuously engage, initiate, and contribute to enhance the supply chain processes, efficiency by:
a. Continually planning a cost conscientious mindset for assigned commodities to support the company’s positive financial results;
b. Investigate new market trends and products and share with Procurement and other MNGE departments;
c. Continually enhance and improve knowledge of FSM and openly share with Procurement team.
d. Identify, facilitate, negotiate and renew authorized purchase orders and contracts.
12. Continuously provide effective problem solving solutions both to internal, external and supplier base.
13. Maintain and provide identified metrics and provide Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports and analysis as required.

Qualifications:
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Applicants should meet the education and experience requirements listed below.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred; and/or combination of education & experience.
Experience:
0-3 years’ experience with procurement, casino/hotel operations, purchasing and/or inventory/supply chain, including some F&B procurement/training preferred.
Related FSM software experience strongly preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
MCN OPG Gaming License is required Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements.
Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check, drug test, and obtain gaming license as required
