We're looking for a dedicated Accounting Supervisor to lead our financial operations, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, managing complex accounting functions, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes that support our company's growth.
As an Accounting Supervisor, you will oversee daily accounting activities, supervise a team of accounting professionals, and ensure our financial operations remain streamlined and compliant. This position reports to the CEO.
Schedule : 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM Monday through Friday; scheduled off days are Saturday and Sunday. Shifts may vary based on seasonality and business needs.
Pay Rate : $60,000-$75,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Accounting Supervisor Primary Responsibilities :
Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, guiding the execution of daily accounting tasks.Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, statements, and summaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.Manage and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring financial data is reported timely and accurately.Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring vendor payments and customer invoicing are handled efficiently.Conduct account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.Review and approve journal entries, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.Lead audits of financial records, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions as needed.Lead the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and analysis reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.Liaise with external auditors and address any audit inquiries promptly.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve operational efficiency.Respond to complex accounting-related inquiries from employees, vendors, and clients.Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.Accounting Supervisor Primary Responsibilities :
ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Skills :In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring accounting teams.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data.Advanced proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines effectively.Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.High attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong ethics, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company standards..Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate self-direction, tact, and diplomacy in a clear, courteous, and professional manner.Education / Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
4-6 years of professional accounting experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role.Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools (ERP systems, QuickBooks, etc.) is highly desirable.CPA or similar professional certification is a plus.Work Location : In person only
