Facility Manager (Multi-Location)

Job Summary : The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of multiple clinic locations. This role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations while optimizing cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

Facility Operations & Maintenance :

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple clinic facilities, ensuring all locations are well-maintained and operational.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other critical systems.
  • Coordinate and supervise repair and renovation projects, ensuring minimal disruption to clinic operations.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Safety & Compliance :

  • Ensure all clinic facilities comply with OSHA, ADA, local building codes, and healthcare-specific regulations.
  • Develop and enforce health, safety, and emergency preparedness protocols across all locations.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure clinic locations maintain appropriate security measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Vendor & Budget Management :

  • Manage vendor contracts for cleaning, landscaping, and other facility-related services.
  • Negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective services while maintaining quality standards.
  • Monitor facility-related budgets and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
  • Approve invoices and track expenses to maintain financial accountability.
  • Space Planning & Resource Allocation :

  • Plan and oversee facility expansion, relocation, or redesign projects as needed.
  • Optimize space utilization to enhance clinic efficiency and workflow.
  • Work closely with IT, Security, and Project Management and administrative teams to ensure seamless facility operations.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination :

  • Supervise maintenance and janitorial staff, providing training and performance oversight.
  • Coordinate with clinic managers to address facility needs and improvements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related concerns and emergencies.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a healthcare or multi-location environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent project management, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to travel between clinic locations as required.
  • Work Conditions :

  • On-site presence required across multiple locations.
  • May involve occasional after-hours work for emergencies or maintenance needs.
  • Physical ability to inspect facilities, including climbing ladders and lifting light objects when necessary.
