Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Shelter Cook at Muskegon Rescue Mission. The Shelter Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for residents, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organization, managing food inventory, and collaborating with staff to meet dietary needs and preferences.
Qualifications
- Cooking and Meal Preparation skills
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation
- Menu Planning and Inventory Management skills
- Effective Communication and Teamwork
- Compassionate and Empathetic approach
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- Food Handler's Certification
Salary : $14 - $16
