Job Description:
We are two families in the Whittier neighborhood of Boulder, CO, seeking a compassionate, experienced, and reliable nanny for a long-term nanny share arrangement. Care will be for two infants, with one baby starting as early as the first week of February 2025 and the second joining in March or April 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Infant Care: Provide attentive care, including feeding (bottles and, later, solid foods), diapering, and supporting nap/sleep schedules.
- Developmental Play: Engage in age-appropriate activities such as tummy time, reading, music, outdoor walks, and outings. As the babies grow, foster structured playtime, outings, and playdates.
- Light Cleaning: Handle baby-related tasks such as washing bottles, baby laundry, and keeping the play area tidy.
- Collaborative Care: Parents work remotely and will be available to provide occasional support as needed.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week).
- Care will rotate weekly between the two families' homes, located ~3 blocks apart.
Compensation:
- $32–40/hour for the nanny share, based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
- Significant prior experience with infants is required.
- Must be a non-smoker and comfortable with friendly family dogs (two well-trained dogs in the homes).
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to work collaboratively with both families.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ideal Candidate:
- Certified as an Infant Specialist or similar qualifications preferred.
- Passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants.
- Enjoys fostering developmental milestones through engaging activities and play.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to the unique dynamics of a nanny-share arrangement.
Start Date:
- Flexible, with one infant beginning care the first week of February 2025 and the second joining in March or April 2025.
