Cardiology Practice is currently seeking a Full-time Receptionist
Responsibilities and Duties:
· The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming patients, visitors, representatives, and other customers by greeting and directing them in a friendly, prompt, and helpful manner.
· The Receptionist will ensure the completion of paperwork, sign-in, and security procedures, and scheduling of patients. During the check-in process, the accounts are registered with the patient’s demographics, insurance is verified and copay and deductibles are collected.
· Answer incoming calls and route them to appropriate personnel and take messages and send task as necessary.
· Pick up voicemails messages on a daily basis.
Qualifications and Skills:
· High School diploma or GED / equivalent required
· Minimum two years of medical office experience preferred
· Bilingual (English / Spanish)
· Ability to prioritize and multitask
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
