Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Manage and mentor a team of 10, fostering collaboration and accountability
- Assign daily tasks and ensure alignment with project deadlines and quality standards
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support professional growth
- Operations Management:
- Coordinate and oversee sewer installation projects from start to finish
- Ensure efficient use of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials
- Develop schedules, monitor progress, and address any operational challenges
- Technical Expertise:
- Serve as a technical resource for the team, providing guidance and troubleshooting support
- Conduct quality checks on installations to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
- Training & Development:
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, ensuring their continued development and proficiency in sewer installation practices
- Identify skills gaps and implement strategies for improvement and growth
- Sales & Customer Relations:
- Collaborate with sales staff to scope projects and manage client expectations
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly
- Safety & Compliance:
- Promote a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to sewer installations
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in sewer installation or a related field
- Proven track record of managing and leading teams in a similar capacity
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Solid technical knowledge of sewer installation processes, equipment, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency with scheduling and project management tools
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to work on-site in Manassas, VA, 5 days a week
- Flexibility to start early in the morning to prepare the team for the day
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
