Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Supervision:
  • Manage and mentor a team of 10, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure alignment with project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support professional growth.
• Operations Management:
  • Coordinate and oversee sewer installation projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Develop schedules, monitor progress, and address any operational challenges.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Serve as a technical resource for the team, providing guidance and troubleshooting support.
  • Conduct quality checks on installations to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Training & Development:
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members, ensuring their continued development and proficiency in sewer installation practices.
  • Identify skills gaps and implement strategies for improvement and growth.
• Sales & Customer Relations:
  • Collaborate with sales staff to scope projects and manage client expectations.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Promote a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to sewer installations.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in sewer installation or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing and leading teams in a similar capacity.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Solid technical knowledge of sewer installation processes, equipment, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with scheduling and project management tools.
• Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work on-site in Manassas, VA, 5 days a week.
  • Flexibility to start early in the morning to prepare the team for the day.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
