What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tooling Designer position at MY RECRUE?
New client, direct to manager BUT HR will get involved as usual, HM said he is willing to take our resumes and if we can produce a k of interest take it to HR and get us set up for temp labor. REQUIRED ·
Perform detailed tooling design and documentation using Autodesk Inventor (WILL ALSO CONSIDER SOLIDWORKS, MAY EVEN ENTERTAIN SOLIDEDGE---BUT DO PREFER INVENTOR) · Create and maintain forming die and cutting die bill of materials.
· Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly. · 2-5 years of design experience in tooling, die design, die forms AND mechanical design.
Experience with Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or Solid Edge. · Good understanding of complex geometry (GD&T) (geometric dimensioning & tolerancing).
Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, sheet metal, metals, die, ERP, MRP, and BOM. PLUSES/NOT REQUIRED · BOM, Stress Analysis
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $47.00 - $48.00 per hour
