Job Overview:
The Public Health Preparedness Field Coordinator District 9 role at My3Tech is a remote work position that requires travel across the State of Indiana approximately 65-75% of the time. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in emergency preparedness, public health, or public safety and possess strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate regularly with Regional Supervisors to share needs, challenges, and accomplishments of health departments within the assigned district
- Participate in IDOH-Division of Emergency Preparedness conference calls and staff meetings as scheduled by program Directors and Regional Supervisors
- Attend District Coalition meetings along with HCC Coordinators and local health department related meetings or events as assigned by Regional Supervisors
- Identify and communicate planning, training, and exercise support needs or activities to Regional Supervisors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience facilitating and managing meetings within program agencies and local partners
- Maintaining meeting notes
- Experience identifying and communicating training and support needs or activities of programs
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task and prioritize according to agency's needs
