As a Jr. Manufacturing Technician you will be responsible for manufacturing, integrating and testing flight hardware, ensuring it meets build and quality standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manufacture, test and integration of component and unit level flight hardware.
- Familiar with component solder rework and touch up, staking/bonding on PCBA and box level hardware.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and accountable for the personal workload.
- Ability to use various tools, including manual and pneumatic tools, soldering irons, measuring equipment.
- Fabricate and assemble electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and assemblies.
- Ability to independently follow procedures but also able to interpret and work from drawings, schematics.
- Fast learner with basic knowledge of soldering, torquing, testing, electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Knowledgeable with structural bonding and application of coatings using various epoxy and silicone adhesive products is desired.
- Working level understanding of force, torque, and precision hand tools.
- Additionally, this role will provide ad-hoc support for as needed to support the manufacturing organization.
- Document work within electronic Manufacturing Execution System ensuring traceability of build.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- 1 -3 years of experience manufacturing and testing electro-mechanical assemblies, or ground support equipment.
- Familiar with J-STD-001, IPC-610 PCBA and Electronic assembly’s manufacture.
- The ability to distinguish colors is required.
- Experience with electromechanical box builds and hand tools.
- Experience with Microsoft 365/Office Suite
- Experience with work order travelers.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder)
- Ability to understand Engineering and Design direction.
- NASA 8739.1, NASA 8739.4, IPC J-STD-001, IPC-610 Space addendum training and certification
- Experience with Environmental testing.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills.
- Prolong sitting or standing for long periods of time, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, and crouching.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to use tools such as microscopes, for long periods.
