Job Summary
This is a 100% in the office role only. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 20 employee accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient administrative processes, supervising administrative staff, human resources, firm billings and receivables, and various other responsibilities. This role requires strong communication skills, computer and IT skills, and the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously while maintaining a professional demeanor especially during very busy and stressful tax seasons.
Duties
- Supervise and support administrative staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Manage office billings and receivables.
- Oversee all human resource functions.
- Plan and coordinate firm events, including meetings, conferences, and team-building activities.
- Maintain office phone systems, ensuring effective communication within the team.
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Manage supply ordering for the firm.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an office management with a minimum of 5 years.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Experience in accounts receivables and billing.
- Familiarity with payroll and human resources.
- High level computer and IT skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using phone systems and maintaining professional etiquette.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
