What are the responsibilities and job description for the Draught Quality Technician position at N.H. Scheppers Distributing Co?
Our Draught Quality Technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our draught beer. They travel to bars and restaurants to maintain draft beer systems and clean lines on a set schedule, and they also are responsible for maintaining the draught equipment we own that is used for special events. They also assist with training bar and restaurant staff in proper pouring techniques, changing kegs, and making minor adjustments to keep the beer flowing the way it was intended to.
The best person for this job is someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty and enjoys troubleshooting. This job involves local travel in a company-provided vehicle, and is perfect for the person who doesn't want to sit at a desk all day.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a cleaning schedule wherein every draught beer line in the territory is cleaned at least every two weeks
- Maintain tap cleaning logs on a daily basis, check and date QC stickers with adherence to rigorous supplier guidelines
- Troubleshoot basic draught system problems and respond to trouble calls in a timely manner.
- Maintain product freshness and presentation through product rotation and equipment cleanliness and appearance
- Assist with draught system installations according to legal guidelines
- Maintain tools to perform specific tasks (spanner wrench, thermometers, tower wrench, etc.)
- Merchandise/install paper and permanent Point of Sale materials
- Ensure assigned Company vehicle is maintained to and clean
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour

License/Certification:
