We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, and will be responsible for ensuring their safety . This role requires someone who is patient, creative, and able to engage children in fun and educational activities while also managing daily routines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, accommodating any dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring toys and play areas are safe and tidy.
- Assist with homework and educational tasks as needed.
- Provide care for children with disabilities or special needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.
- Support routines such as nap times, playtimes, and outings to parks or other recreational areas.
- Handle minor emergencies calmly and effectively while prioritizing the children's safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare or nannying is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Ability to prepare healthy meals suitable for young children.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents effectively.
- A nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for caring for children.
- Must be able to pass background checks related to childcare positions.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is required.
