GENERAL INFORMATION:
Develop and maintain high quality Early Childhood classrooms; assist lead teacher to develop and implement weekly lesson plans; work independently; communicate through verbal and non-verbal means accurately, concisely, and professionally. Write accurately, clearly, and professionally; supervise, and actively engage in professional development activities. Supervision and implementation of a comprehensive child development program; Title 5 and Title 22 and other related requirements of child development programs; working with families of diverse backgrounds, using universal precautions in a child development setting, including children receiving special education services in educational settings. The Napa County Office of Education (NCOE) is a public agency that provides academic services and enrichment opportunities for students, teachers and the community, as well as critical business services for school districts. NCOE partners with the five public school districts in Napa County on a variety of programs and issues. NCOE also operates numerous federal and state grants including a robust AmeriCorps program and state-wide projects supporting Special Education students. NCOE's Early Childhood Services program is a leader in inclusive classroom structures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Requires 12 units ECE, including core courses and qualify for an Associate Teacher Permit. Must have Current CPR and First Aid verification cards.
•Must have the ability to work as a team member, solid knowledge of child development, age-appropriate activities, ability to facilitate child interactions and play.
•Copies of permit and college transcripts indicating applicable coursework to meet requirements of position as a condition of employment need to be submitted with the application.
•Bilingual English/Spanish required.
