Located in East Meadow, Nassau University Medical Center is the only public safety net hospital and community health care center in Nassau County. We are a Level I Trauma Center and a 530-bed teaching hospital
We currently have exceptional opportunities for a full-time Social Worker at Nassau University Medical Center. Responsibilities include interviewing patients and preparing social histories. Candidates must be able to maintain case records, discharge planning and identify community resources for patients.
We require:
Continuing possession of a current license as a Master Social Worker (LMSW) or a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), issued by the New York State Education Department.
NOTE: In lieu of the above, possession of a limited permit to practice at the Nassau Health Care Corporation is acceptable.
