Natchaug Hospital is Eastern Connecticut’s leading provider for children, adolescents and adults with mental illness and substance abuse addictions. We offer a variety of programs including inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment for court-involved teenage girls, geriatric services, clinical day treatment schools and chemical dependency services. Job Summary
Clinical Secretary works cooperatively with the medical, clinical and administrative staff at the Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health site to provide general secretarial functions that contribute to the smooth operation of the office. Delivery of quality service to clients including general reception and clerical duties, filing, data input, correspondence, maintaining client charts, maintaining medical staff credentialing files and greeting clients and other visitors. Maintain office supplies, office equipment, arranging for service when needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience in a secretarial or administrative assistant position preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Excellent computer skills; accuracy and proficiency in data entry.
Customer service skills to internal and external customers.
