Job Title: Saw Operator – Foam Cutting
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to cut foam buns into weather seals and foam sheets using horizontal and vertical saws. The ideal candidate will have experience working with cutting equipment, ensuring precise measurements, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* **Operate horizontal and vertical saws to cut foam buns according to specifications.
* **Measure and mark foam materials to ensure accurate cutting dimensions.
* **Adjust saw settings and blades to achieve the desired thickness and shape.
* **Inspect materials for quality and consistency before and after cutting.
* **Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols.
* **Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on saws to ensure optimal performance.
* **Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications:
* **Previous experience operating horizontal and vertical saws, preferably in a manufacturing or foam-cutting environment.
* **Strong attention to detail.
* **Basic math skills for measuring and cutting accuracy.
* **Ability to lift and move foam materials as needed.
Work Environment:
* **Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise and foam particles.
* **Standing for extended periods and handling heavy materials.
