7:00 am – 3:30 pm

$21.00- $22.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operate a split saw to accurately and efficiently divide carcasses along the backbone of beef sides.
• Execute tasks involving the dismembering and cutting of carcasses according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Utilize foot controls to operate an elevator-type platform, ensuring precise control while moving 6 to 8 feet up and down during the cutting process.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular inspection and reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area.
• Comply with all company policies and regulations related to job performance and conduct.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Splitter Saw Operator or similar role in a meat processing or related industry.
• Proficient in operating split saws and familiar with dismembering and cutting carcasses.
• Ability to operate an elevator-type platform with foot controls while performing precise cutting tasks.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle the demanding nature of the job.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to follow guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
