- We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our medical team. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services to patients in need of critical care. - Duties :
- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct patient assessments and administer medication as necessary to treat patients in a variety of medical situations.
- Use aseptic technique to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Perform physical examinations and utilize medical terminology to communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Operate equipment such as defibrillators and ventilators, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Work closely with emergency department staff at a Level II Trauma Center, providing critical care to patients with life-threatening injuries or illnesses.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop effective treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on medical practices and procedures.
- Skills :
- Strong understanding of patient care and assessment principles.
- Experience working in a hospital or ER setting.
- Ability to perform physical examinations and administer medication.
- Familiarity with DME equipment and aseptic technique.
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification as a Paramedic and current licensure in the state of practice.
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similar environment.
