s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) through a grant administered program awarded to National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions).
This is a unique program where your talents, expertise, and experience will truly be valued. The ACES program provides an opportunity to work side-by-side with NRCS staff that are doing important work every day.
Benefits : Paid Health Insurance Premium for positions budgeted at 60 hours per pay period, Accrued Vacation and Sick Leave, Paid Federal Holidays, and optional Vision and Dental Insurance available for positions budgeted at 35 hours per pay period.

Qualifications :
Minimum of 10 year(s) of experience in Natural Resource Conservation, Business, or related fields. OR BA / BS Degree in Natural Resource Conservation, Business, or related fields.
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
- NRCS Software : NEST, CD / CART, Protracts preferred but not required.
Duties :
Working under direction of Assistant State Conservationists and State Conservationist, assists in Farm Bill program and office support functions.
Typical tasks include assembling document packages for field visits and coordinating correspondence with landowners, receiving office visitors and controlling building access, maintaining records, generating reports, and supporting personnel, fleet, and inventory operations.
Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) a plus but not required.
- Receiving guests and variety of program support functions. 40%
- Production of analytical reports from raw information. 35%
- Supporting physical space operations including fleet, inventory, and access control. 15%
- Answers requests for statistical or informative materials regarding NRCS. 10%
Other :
- Easement and Farm Bill support training.
- On-the-job training available for specific and unique tasks will be provided.
