Job Description: Within Fidelity Institutional (FI), our team supports three leaders and organizations accountable for developing and marketing solutions designed to help FI’s clients run their businesses, and for managing the FundsNetwork (FNW) platform on behalf of all Fidelity channels. The team’s portfolio includes a breadth of products and services, spanning Fidelity and 3rd party investment products, marketing and thought leadership, and managed account products and platforms. Further, the FundsNetwork team manages relationships with over 700 asset managers whose investment products are distributed through IWMS, Wealth and Brokerage, and WI. Our finance team plays a pivotal role in defining, executing, and ensuring the success of the products and services that comprise FI’s and FNW’s future-ready revenue model. The Purpose of Your Role The senior manager will work closely with the FundsNetwork and FI Product senior team. Key responsibilities include supporting and providing financial analyses related to new or existing initiatives, products, and programs, and KPI program management. In this role, you will develop expertise in decision support (i.e., business cases, strategic initiatives, and executive presentations), business performance evaluation, and business relationship management. You will collaborate with finance and business associates across the firm and will interact regularly with senior members of FI’s finance and business organizations. The Expertise You Have A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent training 6 years’ work experience in financial modeling / presentation development / project ownership Exceptional analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management, and problem-solving capabilities Intermediate/ advanced skill level in MS Excel and database querying techniques and proficiency in MS PowerPoint Experience with Fidelity’s Asset Management, Intermediary Distribution, and/or Clearing and Custody businesses a plus The Skills You Bring End to end problem solving capabilities from defining complex problems to synthesizing key points and drawing out connections to business priorities Ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure in a dynamic environment Ability to handle ambiguity, and to manage multiple deliverables with competing priorities Strong and accurate analytical capabilities and financial modeling skills Proactive and ambitious drive to complete projects Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize and clearly articulate complex issues, and communicate findings Proven interpersonal skills and confidence interacting with and influencing various levels within the organization Presence and judgment to put forward well-reasoned recommendations and engage in dialogue with business partners Ability to foster effective relationships, and to develop the credibility and standing to advise and challenge business partners The Value You Deliver Supporting and collaborating on the roll-out of new products through financial and marketplace business case and initiative analyses Evaluating business and product performance, providing insight into value delivered, cost, and ROI Synthesizing data, analyses, and conclusions into presentation form, and delivering strategic recommendations to finance and business partners Working effectively across our team to accomplish our objectives The base salary range for this position is $81,000-$137,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
