PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will work in the Energy Services Department, as a key account manager for customers served by National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation. They will be responsible for the following functions within their assigned geographic territory.

• Customer Service: Act as business liaison for the utility's larger commercial/industrial accounts to provide solutions and services to address customer specific problems and challenges.

• Sustainability Planning: Support customers' sustainability plan design and implementation for the local facilities within the assigned service area to achieve their corporate-wide sustainability and decarbonization goals.

• Opportunity Prospecting: Utilize technical feasibility studies and other tools to assist customers with identifying and evaluating opportunities for natural gas and low-carbon energy efficient systems improvements, deployment of alternative energy solution, and educating customers on broader decarbonization strategies.

• Business Relationship: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customer accounts, and business influencers such as project developers, engineering firms, and economic development agencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Energy-related concentrations.

• Applicants must possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Problem solving, organizational and time management skills are necessary to succeed in this position.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical sales experience, knowledge of energy technologies including HVAC and industrial process, and/or marketing experience are highly desirable.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The base salary for this position is $60,500 – $75,000.

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
