Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Position Overview: Masis Professional Group is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for a highly reputable and prestigious law firm in the Midtown Manhattan area . The ideal candidate will have solid experience in all aspects of commercial real estate, including title and survey reviews, purchases, sales, financings, and leasing. This position requires a highly organized individual with strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in the preparation and review of commercial real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, financing documents, and closing documents.
• Review and analyze title reports and surveys to identify and resolve issues.
• Manage real estate closings, including coordinating documents, obtaining signatures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Draft and organize correspondence, reports, and legal documents as needed.
• Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other third parties to facilitate transactions.
• Maintain case files and records, ensuring they are up to date and organized.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide updates and resolve any issues related to transactions.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of documents with relevant government agencies.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in commercial real estate, including title and survey reviews, real estate transactions, and leasing.
• A college degree and/or paralegal certificate is required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with commercial real estate software is a plus.
