The client of Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will provide critical support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, trial, and settlement negotiations.

- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support ongoing litigation.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery materials.
- Summarize medical records and manage case-specific documents.
- Organize, maintain, and file case files, ensuring timely access to critical information.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness lists, and trial notebooks.
- Attend court hearings, pre-trial conferences, and trials to provide in-court support, including taking notes and managing exhibits.
- Coordinate and schedule court appearances, depositions, and meetings with clients and witnesses.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts to prepare for trial and post-trial activities.
- Ensure that all legal documents are filed with the appropriate courts and comply with local Alabama rules and regulations.
- Prepare trial binders and assist in managing trial logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly during hearings and trials.
- Prepare deposition summaries, manage discovery responses, and assist attorneys with trial strategy.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
- Strong understanding of legal research techniques and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience attending court hearings, depositions, and trials, with an understanding of in-court procedures and trial protocol.
