Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Compliance Quality Control (QC) Contractors to perform thorough compliance QC reviews on various loan types, including Non-Qualified Mortgages (Non-QM), Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) loans, Closed-End Second mortgages, and Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC). This role requires top-quality work with no secondary review, so attention to detail and a deep understanding of compliance regulations are essential. LauraMac experience is required, and no training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed compliance quality control reviews to ensure loans meet all regulatory, investor, and company guidelines.
- Review TRID disclosures, LE/CD timing, RESPA, ATR/QM rules, and all other applicable federal and state regulations.
- Utilize the LauraMac Loan Review Platform to document and manage loan compliance reviews.
- Ensure accuracy and full compliance in all reviews, as there will be no secondary review.
- Complete a minimum of 10 reviews per day.
- Identify and document any regulatory violations, disclosure issues, or inconsistencies.
- Provide clear and concise explanations for any deficiencies found.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience in compliance quality control, mortgage auditing, or a similar role within the mortgage industry.
- In-depth knowledge of TRID, RESPA, ATR/QM, ECOA, HMDA, and other mortgage-related compliance regulations.
- Mandatory experience with the LauraMac Loan Review Platform.
- Ability to work independently and provide accurate, high-quality work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management skills to meet daily quotas.
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate equipment to perform the job remotely.
