Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Credit Quality Control Contractors to perform detailed credit QC reviews on Non-Qualified Mortgages (Non-QM), Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) loans, Closed-End Second mortgages, and Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOC). This role requires top-quality work with no secondary review, so accuracy and attention to detail are critical. LauraMac experience is required, and no training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough credit quality control reviews on Non-QM, DSCR, Closed-End Second, and HELOC loans.
- Utilize the LauraMac Loan Review Platform to document and manage loan reviews.
- Ensure all reviews meet high-quality standards, as there will be no secondary review.
- Complete a minimum of 10 reviews per day.
- Identify and document any errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
- Communicate findings effectively when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience in credit quality control, underwriting, or a similar role within the mortgage industry.
- Strong knowledge of Non-QM, DSCR, Closed-End Second, and HELOC loan products and guidelines.
- Mandatory experience with the LauraMac Loan Review Platform.
- Ability to work independently and provide accurate, high-quality work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management skills to meet daily quotas.
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate equipment to perform the job remotely.
