Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Field Supervisor to oversee operations and ensure the highest standards of security and safety for our clients, employees, and their safeguarding passengers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in law enforcement or security, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This role requires effective communication, conflict management abilities, and the capability to respond to various situations with professionalism. Specifically, the Security Field Supervisor will ensure teams of uniformed Security Officers meet their obligations, to professionally transport safeguarding passengers in marked company vehicles. This requires tact, client knowledge, great people skills and the ability to anticipate the needs of clients, staff and the company. Since safeguarding people are travelling on government orders, the utmost in top level service and professionalism must be observed and managed.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate on-call operations of security personnel.
- Conduct regular inspections of safeguarding teams to ensure compliance with safety protocols, security procedures and government regulations.
- Provide training and support to team members on best practices in security and transportation of safeguarding clients.
- Respond promptly to incidents, conducting investigations as necessary and documenting findings.
- Implement conflict management strategies to de-escalate situations effectively.
- Collaborate with government agencies as needed for safeguarding client exchanges, incident reporting and resolution.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a security or law enforcement field is preferred.
- Familiarity with conflict management strategies and emergency response protocols.
- Military or law enforcement experience would be an asset for this position.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective reporting and team coordination.
