Overview:
This position works closely with Customer Service, Logistics, and Warehouse departments to facilitate the repair of equipment while maintaining constant communication and strong vendor relationships.
Essential Functions:

Coordinate all rental equipment service and repair requests with Nationwide warehouse locations -
- Prioritize repairs utilizing in-house repair technicians, OEM’s, and third-party repair centers
- Purchase and maintain inventory of repair and spare parts
- Prepare replacement parts requests from inventory and coordinate shipment to offices in need
- Identify and condense parts/accessories within assets in maintenance to remove as many assets as possible
- Communicate equipment service status to Customer Service and Logistics departments
- Update and maintain internal software systems
- Monitor deliveries and any past due shipments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manage their performance
- Assist Accounting Department with Purchase Order/Invoice research as needed
Organize and maintain all service and repair parts inventory and service area –
- Maintain appropriate spare parts inventory
- Receive and stock parts orders
- Conform to 6s standards
Work as part of equipment repair team –
- Assist with basic repair work that includes troubleshooting or logistically moving parts from one office location to another.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands:
Walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continually during work hours. Is subject to lifting over 10 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Work hours are 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Occasional evening and weekend work are required as job duties demand.
Travel:
Travel may be required for this position as mandated by the needs of the 8 Nationwide locations which may include out-of-area and overnight travel.
Required Education and Experience:
- 1 years of A/V gear equipment experience or related field
- 1 years experience in inventory management
- Data collection experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 2 years of purchase contract experience
- 2 years inventory management experience
- 2 years of Oracle or SAP business operating system experience
- 1 years of A/V gear equipment experience or related field
- Associate’s degree in a Business related field
