Natura PCR is a leading company in the plastic’s circular economy space by where we are processing PE plastic films and clear plastic wrap used commercially, which includes stretch wrap for pallets, furniture film, bags and shrink wrap around food and beverage containers. Natura PCR produces a high-quality recycled pellet that is PCR (post-consumer resin). We have been recycling plastics for over 25 years and our company has processing expertise and an innovative mindset for our company to have a positive impact on our team members, the industry, and most importantly the environment.

We are in the process of scaling our business to deliver more circular solutions for PE films and clear plastic wraps. Plant Controller
The Plant Controller is responsible for Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity. Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points. Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Establish (in coordination with CFO) financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation.Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.Maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development.Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies.The Plant Controller manages all financial control and accounting activities of a plant including general and cost/manufacturing accounting.Ensures the plant’s financial control processes and systems comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and provide required information.Monitor plant operation results against operating plans and direct the preparation of financial, production output, and other reports used to measure and control plant activities and costs.Leads plant financial and capital budgeting process.Recommends and implements programs and systems to improve productivity, increase efficiencies and reduce costs.Managing inventory, preparing month end reports and forecasts, tracking labor costs, overhead, and equipment depreciation.Evaluate, implement and optimize accounting and internal control systemsEvaluate, implement and optimize the effectiveness of ERP system (JD Edwards) and supporting database, as needed.Developing and monitoring business key performance metricsPREFFERED SKILLS:Seven or more years of manufacturing/costing experienceStrong analytical skills including financial data analysis.Experience implementing internal controls in manufacturing industry.Exemplary history of financial project management
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in management accounting, cost accounting, or related fieldFive or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance managerProfessional certification, such as CPA (certified public accountant) or CA (chartered accountant)At least seven years of extensive experience in cost and manufacturing accounting is mandatory. Must have solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills. Candidates should possess knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued.
Physical Demands

Frequently: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Handing, Finger movements, Reaching outward and above the shoulders.

Occasionally: Sitting, Climbing, Squat/Kneel, Lift/Carry up to 20lbs, Push/Pull 20lbs.
