Janitorial Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in one facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on commercial cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, dusting, and vacuuming, emptying trash, restroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning and throwing away trash to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring they are hygienic and well-stocked.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that all areas are maintained according to company standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean environment for both staff and visitors.

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week
