Nature’s Flavors is looking for an experienced content writer to join our team and help us craft innovative and engaging digital content that connects with our audience and drives engagement. For over 40 years, Newport Flavours and Nature’s Flavors have been developing and producing custom natural & organic flavors and fragrances for consumers and businesses. We use the highest quality natural ingredients sourced from around the world to construct our flavorings and fragrances. Our products enhance, maintain, or improve the taste, aroma, color, or flavor of goods. We are a family-owned business, and our customer base ranges from individual buyers to small and medium-sized businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
The content writer will work closely with our creative team to produce high-quality multimedia content for projects that include (but are not limited to): photos, videos, social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and company websites. The ideal candidate for this role is interested in the Food and Beverage industry, can research and replicate any brand’s tone and produce written content that includes industry-relevant keywords.

The content writer will work closely with our creative team to produce high-quality multimedia content for projects that include (but are not limited to): photos, videos, social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and company websites. What you will do:
- Conceptualize and write daily content for social media platforms, websites, blogs, newsletters, etc.
- Writing strategic and engaging copy for multiple social, web, print, and email channels.
- Work with our creative team, copywriter, videographers/photographers, and Brand Manager to deliver content ideas and copy for our websites, digital marketing, advertising, social media, blogs, e-newsletters, infographics, and lead generation.
- Create and own a monthly content calendar for social media platforms, websites, blogs, and newsletters.
- Ideate and research trendy & engaging video and photo concepts.
- Develop and present social media campaigns.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow our TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook presence.
- Publishing content on our digital media channels and other associated socials.
- Utilizing multiple trend-seeking tools and discovery pages to locate relevant content.
- Tracking and analyzing our digital content to improve results and grow audiences.
- Help audit and update website content and information.
- Copy editing.
- Passion for storytelling and connecting with consumers.
- Able to work under deadlines with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong internet research skills. Familiarity with all video/social media platforms and a strong knowledge of how to best navigate them (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest)
- Prior start-up or small business/brand experience is a plus (experience working with founders a plus)
- Ability to work independently. Must possess excellent time management skills, including prioritizing and scheduling.
- Ability to simultaneously work on projects for multiple brands with different objectives.
- Previous experience with building a social media presence and audience development.
- Proven experience as a copywriter (3-4 years of copywriting experience required).
- Portfolio demonstrating a record of excellent writing skills.
- Social media content creation: Minimum two years experience.
- Track record of creating compelling, consistent, and high-quality content.
- Proficient understanding of social media marketing, emerging content formats, and best-practice across social media platforms.
- Content Management Systems, Adobe, Canva, and other relevant software as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience in Copywriting, Marketing, and social media management
