Title: Injection Molding Process Technician
Status: Full-Time with client
Location: Chatham, NY
Relocation: Partial Assistance Available (up to 5k)
Job Summary:
This role requires expertise in plastics injection molding, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and mold installation. The position involves alternating alternating rotating shifts: one week 7am-3pm, the next week 3pm-11pm, and 3rd shift 11pm-7am.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe, injury-free environment.
Adhere to Division safety rules and procedures.
Conduct safety audits of equipment.
Inspect, install, and set up new molds.
Troubleshoot tooling, processes, and machines.
Assist Engineering with process development.
Improve efficiencies with Shift Process Technicians.
Interpret data related to the molding process.
Maintain accurate documentation and communication.
Perform overtime as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: A two-year technical degree is preferred but not required.
Experience: At least five years of hands-on practical experience in plastics injection molding, including new mold inspection, installation, and setup.
Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Skills:
Must pass Work Keys Mathematics and Technical aptitude tests.
Proficiency in the IQMS system and basic PC literacy.
