A NAVFAC Contract Specialist provides pre award and post award planning, development, advertisement, award, and administration of contracts for the procurement of supplies and services.

As a Contract Specialist you will :
- Perform pre-award and post-award duties (determine the type of contract, method of solicitation).
- Solicit proposals from prospective contractors and prepare solicitations documents.
- Conduct pre-award negotiations to solicit evaluate, and award construction or service contracts.
- Administer contracts by monitoring contract performance, preparing modifications, or resolve issues impacting contract performance.
- Manage negotiation of terms and conditions of contracts.
- Solicit proposals from prospective contractors and prepare solicitation documents.
Salary : $90,662 - $117,856
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.9% will be added to the stated salary
Position Requirements :
- SECRET Clearance
- Certification in Contracting
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 24 semester hours of business courses

Requirements for all NAVFAC Positions :
