Summary You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Maintenance Plan Department and Special Projects, Maintenance Planning Department of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Logistics Center, Keyport Division, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA) located at Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. Responsibilities You will apply complex analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations. You will use qualitative and / or quantitative methods to continually assess and improve the effectiveness of NSLC business operations. You will provide accurate and complete documentation in response to data calls and program evaluation. You will provide presentations, reports, data and other information in various formats to higher level management and outside points of contact. You will analyze Project Management and Workforce Management data and processes from Navy ERP or other approved systems to create metrics, as well as identify causes / factors which influence the resulting data. You will analyze program and system applications for improvement. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : Analyzing and maintaining metrics for Planned Maintenance System products (e.g., customer funds, workload forecasting, project analytics) to ensure project completion or resolution. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include statistical analysis and data mining; demonstrated experience in Power BI dashboard creation; developing reports and presentations.
