Customer Service work comprise 55% of incumbent's time and include but are not limited to:
- Offer guests the opportunity to obtain and enjoy food and beverage while in the process of playing golf or enjoying other events.
- Describes menu items to customer explaining various product combinations and options.
- Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response. ? Monitors consumption of guests and follows protocols to ensure a safe environment.
- Offer to dispose of trash and empties to assist the guests to maintain a consistent and clean environment.
- Assist in other ways such as directions to the restroom, club house, etc.
- Request and restock in a timely manner to ensure proper par levels that allow for consistent and quality service.
- Active participation in events, programs, meetings, and training.
- Operates a golf cart motor vehicles (approximate weight up to 1,000 pounds) to transport and deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food and snacks to golf course customers.
- Loads and arranges food orders in vehicle so that it does not shift or fall.
- Obeys all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Performs and documents vehicle operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels, air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing vehicles.
- Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments and menu items.
- Serves food and drinks to restaurant patrons.
- Clears and cleans the table and the immediate area and reset the table in preparation for the next guests.
- Performs other duties as required.

- Must possess and be able to maintain a valid driver's license.
- This position is subject to the possibility of workdays on weekends and holidays, as well as, rotating shifts, often consisting of other than normal duty hours.
- May be recalled to duty and/or required to work overtime, including on an emergency basis.
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
- Must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire, and maintain for duration of employment: Cash Handling Training, Responsible Alcohol Training, Sanitation Training
- Must meet minimum state age requirements to prepare/serve alcohol.
- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
- Must meet federal suitability requirements including successful completion of background investigation.
- Ability to perform common arithmetic problems associated with receiving payment from customers, making change and preparing cash reports.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Must have the ability to learn POS system.
- Must have the ability to safely operate a motorized beverage golf cart and have good depth perception/vision.
- Skill in organizing work assignments in a logical sequence in order to execute tasks quickly and accurately.
- Ability to follow instructions well and comfortable working mostly outdoors.
- Knowledge of proper golf etiquette.
- Must be able to work long hours in various weather conditions.
- Work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time.
- Requires an approachable, engaging personality and the ability to relate and converse with all types of people
- Customer service experience of at least one year preferred.
