Key Responsibilities Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager

• Own the month end closing
• Compile and analyze financial data to prepare accurate and timely balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Verify and record complex transactions, ensuring proper classification and adherence to accounting principles.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure the company complies with relevant financial reporting standards.
• Regularly reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure accuracy.
• Contribute to the preparation of corporate tax returns and related filings
• Present clear and concise financial information to management, including insights and recommendations
• Prepares and records assets, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
• Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
  
  

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Several years of progressive accounting experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools – NETSUITE A PLUS

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
