What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Research Associate II (Clinical Interviewer) position at NCIRE?
Position Definition:
The incumbent will work on several research studies conducting clinical interviews.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct structured psychiatric diagnostic evaluation interviews (SCID) to determine presence/absence of DSM 5 Axis I disorders
- Conduct Clinician Administered Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Scale (CAPS) to determine presence/absence of Current or Lifetime diagnosis of PTSD
- Conduct other clinical psychological and neuropsychological assessments
- Score and code test results
- Knowledgeable of study eligibility criteria
- Formulate Diagnostic profile, present case in team meeting or diagnostic calibration case conference to determine study eligibility
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- M.A./M.S. degree in clinical or counseling psychology, social work or related field required;
- At least 8 months of experience in conducting PTSD assessments for research projects at the San Francisco VA Medical Center
- Experience with suicide risk assessment with veterans and civilian populations
- Knowledge in DSM-5 diagnoses is required
- Knowledge and previous experience in the assessment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
The base salary range for this position is $25.24 - $40.60 per hour. The base salary actually offered to a successful candidate will take into account various relevant and non-discriminatory business factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, and skills, and education, as well as internal equity considerations. A successful candidate may also be eligible to earn additional compensation including bonuses.
